Theatres of Minsk

In 1956. in the Republican Palace of culture of trade unions organized a Theatre Studio,
the leader of which became the artist of the State academic Russian drama theatre named after M. Gorky Kuzma fists.
In 1967 it was replaced by the actor of the same theatre Yuri Stepanov.
His first work was the play by Leonid Savin "Intervention".
It was then that the Theater Studio of the Palace was awarded the title people‘s theatre.
In 1976, for the performance of "crane Creek" based on the novel by Vladimir Bykov, the company received
laureate diploma of the First all-Union festival of Amateur art workers.
The pearl theatre was the play "Advena the song" on poem by Yanka Kupala,
that 1982 team was awarded the title of Laureate of the Republican contest.
Since 1988 artistic Director of the National theatre worked G. B. Davydko,
actor of the Belarusian academic theater. Ya.
They delivered performances of "Orchestra" by Jean Anouilh, "Day of laughter" K. Soy, "the Black man" M. Korkiya,
"Persian", "Family portrait with a stranger", P Labazanova.
Then the theater was headed by A. Milovanov, people‘s artist of the Republic of Belarus
actor of the Belarusian academic theater. Ya.

The theatre‘s repertoire includes Russian and foreign classics, plays by contemporary authors, the Belarusian dramaturgy.

During its existence the theater staged more than 60 plays and has played over 1000 performances.
The main part of the theater stable for decades are members of collective actors, G. I., Bruises,
I. A. Gapeev, V. N. Pekur, A. T. Gapeev,
I. A. Wagner, T. P. Mazanik, E. my sibikin alternative, A. Balabancik, W. Kalnik, etc..
