New energy-saving technology: heat and water insulation coating based on polyurethane foams.
The high cost of energy and increasing demands of environmental protection require more of a conscious relationship to their usage. We need to rethink traditional ideas about saving energy, heat, and replace them with the best solutions. Traditional coatings, including glass and mineral wool, in many climatic areas simply cannot provide the required standards of insulation.
LLP “Ekibastuz Casper” offers to your attention a new technology of preparation and application of two-component polyurethane foam insulation with the lowest thermal conductivity coefficient.
The use of polyurethane foam (PUF) seems to be valid and promising alternative. The use of two-component polyurethane systems with desired physico-mechanical characteristics makes it possible to apply them as simple as insulation, and create one cover comprehensive protection: thermal, hydro and sound insulation.
The polyurethane foam is formed by mixing two initially liquid components, namely component A (polyol) and component B (isocyanate).
By mixing these two components starts a chemical reaction mixture which foams under the influence of heat is generated. At the end of the reaction phase, the foam begins to solidify and harden.
THE FEATURES USED POLYURETHANE FOAM.
Among insulating materials has the lowest thermal conductivity and high waterproofing properties (closed pores), allowing to use it even as a roofing material. The applied polyurethane foam system have a wide range of density from 35 to 120 кгм3 кгм3. At a density above 60 кгм3 they already possess and waterproofing properties.
Method of thermal insulation of building structures according to the technology of spraying polyurethane foam in comparison with other traditional insulation technology has a number of advantages:
1. Technology allows spray polyurethane foam to insulate building structures of any size and configuration;
2. High adhesion strength of the coating to the coating surface does not require additional work on the thermal protection fixture (on dry surface);
3. The thickness of the sprayed layer of polyurethane foam is not limited, which allows the use of this technology for all climatic zones;
4. Thanks to its qualities, as an absolute environmental safety on the one hand, and resistance to impact of external factors on the other hand, the technology of spraying polyurethane foam acceptable to use as the inside of buildings, premises and outside;
5. The durability of the coating, is not subject to decay and rot, is not destroyed when exposed to seasonal temperature fluctuations, atmospheric precipitation, aggressive industrial atmosphere;
6. The solidity of the resulting polyurethane coating leads to the formation of a seamless (no thermal bridges) of the insulation coating;
7. It is also important to note the reduction of transportation costs, because consumables are delivered to the facility in liquid form and in spray technology, is expanding in volume approximately 20 times, i.e. from 2 standard 200-litre drums of the chemical. components would be about 10 cubic meters of finished polyurethane foam.
8. Chemically neutral to acid and alkaline environments;
9. When performing work on the technology of spraying an additional advantage is the inability of the plundering of insulation for unprotected objects.
10. The performance of a team of 3 persons for 8 hours – 400-450 sq. m. cost of 1 sq. m. the insulating layer at a thickness of 30 mm is 2.8 kg. the liquid mixture components under normal weather conditions ( no strong wind or rain) depends on the configuration and the inaccessibility of the object.
The scope of application of sprayed polyurethane foam systems

 insulation constructions for industrial and administrative buildings and premises (walls, floors, basements, ceilings) constructed of concrete, brick, metal and other materials;
 device roofs of buildings, repair and reconstruction of old roofing.
 thermal insulation of pipelines for various purposes;
 insulation of various tanks and reservoirs, including the sites of thermal and nuclear energy;
 thermal insulation of refrigerating chambers, refrigerated and freezer vans;
 manufacturer of sandwich panels;
 sealing of interpanel joints in buildings, door and window boxes.
This technology gives the ability to perform work on the isolation structures, as in new construction and renovation. For insulation coating does not require surface preparation. Using the same equipment can perform the work on pouring polyurethane foam in the middle of a pre-created design, consisting of a support frame and a facing layer.
Calculations show that the layer of polyurethane foam 40 mm. equivalent insulation of a brick masonry with a thickness of two feet.
