Museums of Verkhnyaya Pyshma

Military equipment Museum of the UMMC is one of the largest exhibition venues in the Russian military-technical profile. Open the exposition occupies 5 ha. Area of exhibition premises – 7000 sq. m. the Museum contains more than 200 pieces of military equipment, a unique collection of Patriotic awards, military regalia, models of weapons and firearms. The exhibition includes uniforms, equipment, insignia of the Russian armed forces from the XVIII century to our days. Open railway exhibition. A separate direction of work on preservation of historical memory is the restoration of exhibits. Set on the machine take part in the annual solemn procession on May 9 in Verkhnyaya Pyshma. In November 2015, the Museum was awarded a memorable sign of the Russian military-historical society "the Best Museum of military history." The Museum was created to preserve the memory of the heroic past of our Motherland and military-Patriotic education of youth. That‘s why the Museum conduct open lessons of history, working children‘s clubs local history, stand modelling and the history of weapons, carried out military historical games for students.
Next to the Museum of military equipment UMMC is a Museum of motor vehicles, forming a single exhibition complex. Today it is one of Russia‘s largest collections of vintage cars, motorcycles and bicycles. The exhibition area of over 3500 sq m. temporarily stationed on the territory of JSC "Uralelectromed", where you can get the ticket to the Museum of military equipment on a special bus that runs five times a day from Wednesday to Sunday from the Museum of military equipment in 10:30, 12:00, 13:30, 15:00, 16:30.
